At Christian Stewardship Services we have a full staff complement to support our clients and charity partners. Our field staff, administrative staff and management work as a team to help those we serve in planning, giving and managing their God given resources. This includes our partner community and the individual donors who make up the support community.
Maynard has been serving CSS since 2007, initially as a stewardship consultant advising clients in the Western Ontario region. In 2012 he became the Executive Director, and has strengthened CSS through his skills and expertise in the areas of financial advising, fiscal and resource management as well as his creative thinking and approach to Christian stewardship. Prior to CSS, Maynard became a financial advisor in 1993 in which he discovered the joy of interacting with clients. He joined the Client Service department of AIC in 2001 and eventually became the supervisor of AIC's Tax and Estate Planning Team. On this team they reviewed and commented on a number of government initiatives. He achieved his Certified Financial Planning designation in 2003. Maynard is actively involved at his church in Cambridge serving as a volunteer in a variety of capacities.
Since 2009 Marinus has been providing financial planning advice to clients in Ontario, and specifically since 2013 with CSS. He enjoys encouraging people to make use of the variety of tools available for effective charitable giving. He received his Certified Financial Planning designation in 2010. Prior to exploring his current profession, he owned and managed a farm and greenhouse operation in the Niagara Region. He enjoys singing in a male chorus group called 'To the King', mission trips to Guatemala and helping at the local 'Out of the cold' program.
Serving CSS in Western Canada, Dave has been advising clients since he joined the team in 2010. His background and 12 years of experience in reviewing matters related to estate planning and retirement within the insurance field benefits the clients of CSS. He has also completed the required courses for the Certified Financial Planning designation. Dave has enjoyed volunteering at his local Christian school in Duncan, BC to advance Christian education through development initiatives.
Paul has been advising clients in financial services since 1998. His desire to guide clients through the process of planning for their future led him to CSS. Prior to this, Paul was an entrepreneur who started and sold sporting goods businesses. He is an active member in his church serving on the mission board, Mustard Seed ministries and serving with the Gideons. As a member of the team, Paul hopes to foster cheerful giving and living our lives in God's abundance.
Rob joined the CSS team in May of 2016 to manage the CSS Mortgage Program and be the lead administer on all aspects of the assets CSS has under administration. In addition, he serves as a Stewardship Consultant in Ontario as time allows. Rob earned his degree (Honours Business and Honours Psychology) at Redeemer University College. He comes with a background of 20 years in business management including experience with accounting and tax, continuous improvement, consulting, and non-profit/charity leadership. Rob is actively involved in his church, as a part of the leadership and preaching team, and has served on various committees in the local Christian school community at which his six children attend.
In 2012 Henry transitioned from his role as Executive Director of CSS to be the Mortgage Program Manager. Prior to joining CSS he served as financial planner and manager of an insurance operation for 28 years. He also provided leadership in various roles within Christian school boards and the Life Underwriters Association of Canada. He enjoys serving as a volunteer with the Disaster Relief Service Program of World Renew. He resides in Unionville, Ontario.
Since 2004 Jill has been serving the clients of CSS with all the administrative details necessary to complete gift arrangements. She now serves as Administrator and co-ordinates the activities of the administrative team, office management and supports the Executive Director as well as oversees the mortgage and gifts of securities programs. Having operated a small business and studying for a degree in Library Science contributes to her strong organizational skills. She enjoys serving on her church Leadership Team as well as being a Stephen Minister since 2006. She resides in Toronto, Ontario.
Mary has served as Financial Administrator since 2011. Her meticulous attention to detail provides CSS with accurate financial record keeping. She brings to CSS over 20 years of financial experience in the non-profit sector including working with international NGOs, provincial government agencies and community based charities. She enjoys being involved with an organization called Women of Purpose, and has worked with the Children's Ministry of her church and the Awana program. She resides in Aurora, Ontario.
Serving as administrative assistant to the staff at the Head Office, Teresa began working with CSS in 2014. She enjoys providing support to our Administrator and Financial Administrator and wherever else is required. Teresa serves as a volunteer in the Children's Ministry at her church on a regular basis. She resides in Stouffville, Ontario.
Annetta joined the CSS Team in June 2016 as Administrative Assistant in the Cambridge office. Annetta provides administrative support to the Executive Director and to the Stewardship Consultants, providing event planning for the Will Clinics and follow up support for client files. Prior to joining CSS, Annetta worked at Redeemer University College as an executive assistant and organizing events ranging from small receptions to golf tournaments. She, along with her husband attend Meadowlands Fellowship CRC and reside in Brantford, Ontario.
