I recently had the pleasure of doing a site visit for a Christian School in British Columbia that was looking to refinance their mortgage. Like many locally run Christian schools they grew from small and humble beginnings as the families organized to open a school that supported their Christian values. As I learned more about the school, heard their stories of faithfulness to their mission I was truly impressed and encouraged by the work they are doing and for the vision they had cast for the future of their school.
As a result of our meetings and the site visit to the school, I had an increased understanding of how the work of Christian Stewardship Services has been multiplying God’s work in it’s support of charities over the last 45 years. When a school, church, or Canadian charity is financed from our restricted fund, they are able to continue to grow and fulfill the work of their mission. By doing God’s work they are doing Kingdom Work! Each time CSS receives a mortgage payment from a mortgage client, over half of the interest is distributed to Canadian Charitable organizations to further support the mission of their kingdom work. It is truly amazing and humbling to witness how the use of our Donor Advised Funds and Revocable Deposits support so many Canadian charities working locally, nationally and around the world. – Brian Dol, Stewardship Consults
